19.3 Landscaping was built on friendship, hard work, and a shared competitive drive. Founded by former baseball teammates Greg Frey and Jakob McIntosh, the name “19.3” represents more than just numbers it’s a tribute to the jerseys they wore on the field. Greg’s 19 and Jakob’s 3. What started as two teammates and neighborhood kids doing small jobs for extra money quickly grew into something much bigger through dedication, long hours, and an obsession with improving their craft.
 

Built in Anne Arundel County, 19.3 has grown into one of the area’s most skilled and recognized landscaping companies. Their journey wasn’t handed to them it was shaped by trial and error, constant learning, and a relentless work ethic rooted in their athletic background. The same discipline, teamwork, and competitive mindset that pushed them on the baseball field now drives every project they take on. What started as becoming the best ball players on the field quickly shifted to becoming the best business owners and landscapers.

Our company motto "Excellence. Integrity. Perfection" defines how we operate every single day. Excellence means delivering results that exceed expectations. Integrity means doing what we say, standing behind our work, and treating every client and property with respect. And perfection, while we know true perfection is nearly impossible it remains part of our motto for a reason. At one point, we considered removing it, knowing no project can ever be truly flawless. But we realized that if you don’t strive for perfection, you’ll never come close to achieving it. That relentless pursuit of perfection, not only in landscaping but in life, is what separates 19.3 and continues to drive us forward.
